  • Man, I am fucking tired. I've been working everyday since Saturday at the pizzeria, and Tuesday I worked morning at the pizzeria, and had an hour to get to my job at Wet Seal. I even worked labor day, and you know I didn't get paid overtime. It was busy this weekend, very busy, and now that schools started again, it's going to be even busier. The middle and high school buy pizza pies from us for their cafeteria. (man when I was in high school we had frozen pizza, not good old, jersey pizzeria pizza)... but anyways, I worked a pizza party this weekend. This Italian family threw a pizza party for this toddler turning 2. They were nice enough to leave a $25 tip!!! but if I didn't get that tip, I probably would have been fucked because they took a while, and they took up all the tables, so no one else could sit down. So, they mostly made up my tips for the day...and damn did we get a lot of phone calls. When I got home from work yesterday, I read a xanga entry that made the headlines, and man, did I get pissed off! Some greedy bitch was complaining about how she hates to tip people! I just got home, my feet, legs, and lower back are aching, I'm pissed at people who jipped me a tip, and this cunt is complaining about leaving a couple of extra bucks for the person who worked so hard to satisfy her! I was fuckng pissed, so naturally I left her a peice of my mind. I think it was the longest comment I ever wrote. I was fuming mad.

After bitching that cheap ass out, I ate dinner, and went to belly dance lessons. But I was already sore from working all week. I still learned some things though.

Tonight I work at Wet Seal....ugh. I got to go run some errands.

  • Today Michelle, Harry, and I went over to Toms (Michelle's step father), to clean out his apartment. Because he is getting so old, and his eye sight is going, and he was in a hit and run, we asked him to move in with us. The old man is better off here, than alone. And there's no way we are putting him in a nursing home, that would just be cruel. We got there, and it looked like he tried to wrestling his living room rug.  Since he is moving out by the end of the month, he was trying to remove his dirty carpet for the land lord. He tried to remove said carpet by him self with scissors. It was a mess. So poor harry has to roll up this nasty ass rug. lol. Tom said his place was clean, but like I said his eyes are going, so he can't see what to clean, or that it isnt clean. We brought some of his furniture back to our house. We cleaned out a small room for him, since he is a simple man and doesn't have much, by choice. He will probably be moving in in a couple of weeks.

Later on I went to belly dance lessons. I paid for 4 classes, and they are really fun. I'm not to good yet, but I love it. It's so spiritual. Its like the meditation of dance. You just flow. Its like liquid. It's so beautiful...and God, is it a work out! lol. I'll be practicing on my own, but I can't wait till next class.

Oh, this has been annoying me. There's some dumb fuck on xanga that doesn't believe that humans have canine teeth Are there seriously that many uneducated people in the world? I mean, I'm not Eienstien or anything, but some people are just plain dumb.

Tomorrow I plan on working on my portfolio a bit, and get some of my sewing lessons done. I also plan to read more of my library books I took out. They are due on the 15th, and there's a lot to read. I already renewed them once.

    I'm tired

  • I've been working at the pizzeria every Monday. But since working only Mondays is hardly a job, I went job hunting at the mall. I had an interview today with Wet Seal. They just opened up in the mall, and they are very under staff. The manager actually gave me the interview on the sales floor, and frequently had to attend to customers during the interview, because there were only two girls working in the store. The manager liked me, and said she'll call me next week and let me know when to come in. I get paid $9.00 an hour. And I'll still be working the pizzeria Mondays so i'll be getting $5 an hour and tips there. I hope it helps out the family. With Paul's parents not working, and all the other people that live with us, it's a miracle we pay our bills. Thank God for Paul's job. If it wasn't for his career, we wouldn't have a house. And now his grandfather is moving in, because he is starting to loose it.

The house on the island they own has a tax lien on it, and all of a sudden Paul's brother, Richard, is coming out of the woodwork, saying what a shame it is that we might loose the house on the island. And how he'd help to pay for it. He say it would be worse to loose that house than the house we are already living in! He has never offered to help us with our bills on th house we live in now. But him and his wife want the house on Rhode Island as a vacation house. They dont care that Paul (the youngest brother by the way) has been supporting his parents this whole time. They doesn't care there are six people living under this roof in Jersey...yet they will so "graciously" help us pay for the house in Rhode Island. That house has been in Pauls mothers family for generations. Her mother lived in that house, and her great grandmother. Its on Prudence Island, and Island off of Rhode Island that is 7miles by one mile. It means a lot to Pauls mother. Pauls mother, Michelle, said she'd sooner sell it to a Realtor than sell it to her greedy son Richard. I can't believe he'd rather see his brother and parents on the street than loose that fucking island house. I really can't stand Richard.

I've been drawing a lot, trying to get a portfolio up to get an apprenticeship at a tattoo parlor. I'm working pretty hard on it, I hope I get somewhere.

  • Apparently I am working out at the pizzeria. They had me working almost everyday last week. It's a crappy job, but in this economy, I am lucky to even have one! I think that having this job at the pizzeria upsets Paul. I think it hurts his pride, because he thinks his job should be enough. But right now he is keeping his parents alive, and paying their mortgage. His pay of $37 and change an hour is good, and he thinks he should have more to show for it. He doesn't realize that he is taking care of his parents, a fiance, and 2 other people that live with us. That is a lot more than most 22 year olds are doing. Him talking about getting a second job just broke my heart...I don't care if he thinks I shouldn't have to work, his construction career is hard enough, I don't want him getting a second job. What pisses me off, is his brothers are journeyman, and get full fitters pay of over $50 and change an hour, and my fiance is only an apprentice, and he is keeping his parents alive. His older brothers contribute nothing, yet wonder why his parents are going to sign the house over to us. So I got this crappy job taking people's orders, so my man wouldn't work himself to death. But I know me working is driving him crazy...o well.

I've been reading a lot of book on folk medicine lately. Natural medicine is fascinating. The old ways of folk medicine may take a little longer, but they are healthier and don't give you the horrible side effects. I got a few books on herbology. I rented a book from the library on medicinal plants in the Pine Barrens of New Jersey. I want to get a mortar and pestle, and a book on how to make tinctures, ointments, etc. I jarred some aloe gel for sunburn. I'm really getting into it. Everyone keeps calling me a witch. I want to buy more herbs for my garden. I have enough flowers, now I need to expand my herbs and foods. I planted a blackberry bush earlier in the season, and it is producing giant berries! The strawberries I planted are done harvesting, but should spread out more next year. The blueberry bush hasn't flowered yet, but has grown taller. I have carrot seeds I still have to plant. Paul has really gotten into gardening as well. He made the lawn look a lot more lush. I love spending time in the garden with my fiance. It is so rewarding to know we have grown such beautiful plants together. We worked hard to make our land look gorgeous. It makes us proud.

I made ribs this weekend, and they came out amazing! I used my parents secret recipe. In the recipe, you braze them, not BBQ them on the grill. You cook them until they fall off the bone. But that's not the secret, the secret is in the sauce, and you just aren't getting that! Paul ate so many, he made himself sick...and ate some more. He was so fat, he went to bed at 8:30...lol...the next day everyone was fighting for the leftovers! Usually, I would take that as a compliment...but those ribs are so fucking good I didn't want people to fight over them, because I wanted them...lol. ribs are on sale again this week, so I think Paul wants me yo make them again....mmm...

I've been itching to get another tattoo...

  • Yesterday was a great day! Paul, his mother, Harry, and I went down to Seaside Heights and spent the whole day on the boardwalk playing the arcades. We got so many tickets, we filled a tote bag, and it was really heavy. The girl at the ticket counter looked shocked. We won over 400,000 tickets. Half on the blackjack machine, and the other half on the Pharaoh's Treasure, which is that game where you put the quarters in and they push over on the side. Well we have half the tickets we would need to win a new 30 inch T.V...and that was at only one arcade. We also had 45,000 tickets in one arcade that we were only in for a half hour. We used to tickets to get a PUR water filter, because the water filter on our refrigerator broke. So it worked out. We also had ticket vouchers from when we were down the shore last year for almost 70,000 tickets from the arcade in Funtown pier...we used the tickets to get a dragon mirror, a pewter dragon cone incense burner, a pewter fairy figurine, and I got a Zippo lighter with a cool cresent moon design. We had a lot of fun. We can't wait to go back and win more tickets towards that T.V

Today, at 4:00 I start work at a pizzaria in town...well not start exactly, they are going to train me and see if it works out. Today is like a trial day. I'm a bit nervous because the guy beind the counter where hitting on me, and I dont want to be sexually harrased. I swear, if my ass gets pinched, I'm lodging a pizza cutter in someones head.

    Blessed Be
